Job Details for Software Engineer (LAMP)
CF Studio (Designchords a part of CF studio) is a multi-disciplinary center of entrepreneurial activity backed up by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. We’re building a team of talented individuals across design, engineering, and product management to develop web 2.0 products/applications. The founding team is from Stanford university and Mckinsey. Current offices are in Palo Alto, California and Gurgaon, India
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Develop and implement new solutions using industry standard technologies (specifically HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL)
2. Demonstrate strong understanding of web application architecture and object oriented technology as implemented in a LAMP environment
3. Keep abreast of current trends in web technology and PHP in particular
1. Extensive knowledge of scalable PHP/python development
2. Experience using apache, MySQL database and solid SQL skills
3. Adequate knowledge in UI web standards, including JavaScript, CSS and XHTML
4. Strong technical competence in technology, site architecture, large scalable systems
5. Expert knowledge in database design, database management, backup/recovery and reporting
6. Competency working in both a Linux and Windows development environment
Bonus Skills:
1. Experience with highly scalable, high availability web sites, esp web 2.0
2. Any previous startup experience
Above all, individual must be ready to work in an entrepreneurial environment and have a lot of fun while working!
Bachelors or equivalent (a degree in CS is a plus)
