Overview
Help social networks and related social network group owners develop a social network monetization strategy. Since we are a 100% virtual organization, you will work from wherever in the world you are located or wish to be and will operate in a completely 100% virtual environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop global high-level contacts and form alliances with key decision-makers and other stakeholders at social networks and major social media event promoters.
* Assist social networks and social network group owners in developing a social network monetization strategy.
* Schedule and promote weekly fee-based web-media-conferences on social network monetization strategy.
* Opportunity to participate as speaker at web-media-conferences and our groundbreaking hybrid-virtual conferences on social media monetization strategy.
* Conduct global web-based presentations and close deals.
* Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
Experience
* Prior compensation in excess of $150,000 - $200,000 is preferred.
* 5+ years of professional online media sales experience
* Extensive experience selling to and managing Global 5000 accounts
* Thorough knowledge of Internet media solutions
* Extensive knowledge of social media tools and solutions
* Thorough understanding of, and extensive participation in, social networks.
* Speaking experience in both virtual and brick and mortar settings.
Skills
* Willingness to learn how to operate and manage in a virtual organization
* Ability to adapt and thrive in a virtual organization
* Powerful and professional web-based presentation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Superior customer service skills
* Must be able to present in both small and large group settings in a virtual environment as well as in the Boardroom.
* Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and leading web-collaboration tools
Education
* A Ph.D. is ideal but not required.
* A BS or MBA is preferred.
* Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.
