Job Details for Junior Software Developer / Engineer
We are currently growing our engineering team, seeking top-notch talent to design and implement new features for our service. You will be part of a small, smart, hard-working team focused on an exciting product vision, working with a talented group of entrepreneurs that has successfully built software startups in the past. The position is based in Pune, India. The person incharge will be responsible for the performance optimization & support of the system.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Performance optimization, production deployment, and aid in client & system support
* Architecture, design, and implementation of new features and products
* Converting business requirements into technical specifications
* Anything it takes to make our product a success
1-2 years in Java & MySQL
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required. Masters is a plus
Passion for solving interesting problems
Knowledge of JAVA/C++, distributed systems, object oriented programming & database concepts.
Basic of Linux/UNIX.
Familiarity with MySQL / Databases is a must.
Nice to have: Background in Search Marketing or Search Engine Optimization
