AdElement is an exciting new online advertising startup. We are developing a scalable platform that generates highly interactive online display ads dynamically and optimizes the various ad elements to provide the most effective ROI to an advertiser and yield to a web publisher. We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead the development of this next-generation online display advertising technology. You will report directly to the founders and lead a small team. Your responsibilities will include:

- Project planning & deliverables
- Development & testing
- Deployment
- Managing & mentoring a team of software engineers
Experience with
- Working on several large scale software or web applications (experience with ad server technologies a plus)
- Working with very large datasets
- Working with Web Technologies, TCP/IP & Network Programming
- Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Expert with Apache, MySQL, Java, Flex, PHP, web technologies
Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science (Masters, Ph.D. a plus)
