We are seeking Market Research Executives / interns from prestigious business schools to understand the opportunities in the education and coaching sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project Brief
1. Analysis of Coaching Classes market in Mumbai specializing in:
a. Class X and Class XII - Science and Mathematics
b. Commerce and Chartered Accountancy (CA)
c. Data points to be captured:
i. Key players in the above mentioned segments
ii. Subjects offered by these key players
iii. No. of branches in Mumbai and across Maharashtra
iv. No. of students per class
v. Fees charged for each type of course offered
vi. Duration of each course and the no. of lecture hours per course
vii. Interview with Professors / Teachers to find the no. of lectures taken per day / week and the no. of hours taught per day / week
viii. Details of study material provided
ix. Issues, if any, faced by students and teachers
2. Analysis of Coaching Classes market out of Mumbai – Conduct desktop analysis of 20 towns in Maharashtra and 20 towns in Gujarat through calling coaching classes to understand their presence and scale.
a. Preferred courses by Students
b. Key players who are conducting coaching in these preferred courses
c. Same analysis as point no. 1 (c) above
d. Field visits to 5-6 locations each in Maharashtra and Gujarat to get a more detailed picture
Any prior experience in Market Research / Education sector would be a plus
