The Field Expert is veriCAR's face in the field. He interacts with customers, dealers and everyone else we need to talk to, in the field.

The Field Expert's role is challenging and enriching, and brings together a combination of deep understanding of automobiles and automotive systems, people management, relationship management and tricky-situation management.

In addition to the above, the Field Expert is expected to (required to) talk to us about veriCAR's standard inspection procedure, and contribute to its continuous refinement.

- Handling a crucial part of the standard inspection procedure
* Test drive - understanding how various automotive systems behave, how they are supposed to behave and what the difference means
* Communicating this to the customer in a language he understands
* Answering any other questions/clarifications that the customer may have
* Ensuring a great customer experience; ensuring that the customer sees veriCAR as knowledgeable, honest and straightforward

- Improving the Standard Inspection Procedure (SIP)
* Constant feedback/communication on the accuracy of the SIP, and inputs on ways and means to refine the system

- People management
* Manage a Field Executive on a team that conducts inspections
* Address concerns as a bridge between Field Executives and Management
* Incentivizing Field Executives
* Manage customer relationships
* Manage dealer relations

We'd love to take on someone who has worked with cars in any capacity in the past, but we'll adjust.

- Passionate about cars and the automobile industry
- Ability to drive; drive safe, drive well
- Ability to 'talk' to the car, understand various automotive systems and be able to communicate them to the customer in a language that he understands
- Great communication/selling skills; should have a finger on the customer's pulse
- Ability to manage and motivate people

BE/Diploma (Mechanical/Automobile)
